More Armies, More Fun!

I'm back for part 2 of my Fantasy army breakdown.  We have some good ones coming up...and a few not-so-good ones.  So on with the breakdown...

It's Hip to be Square

The General’s back with the square-based version of his patented (yes I will patent it so the next time a blog does this they owe me a nickel.) Game-wide army reviews.  Besides, I needed an excuse to quote Huey Lewis (Next time, Morris Day maybe).  Once upon a time I did this for 40K so it’s about time I did it for fantasy.  Like before, I will be looking at capability of the army…complexity for the new gamer…model line, availability and cost…any helpful hints and whatever else I deem relevant before giving a final grade.  I’m going in alphabetical order so we start with…

 

The dead have risen...

Once again, I’m a happy General.  Fresh on the heels of my undead robots getting a much-needed update, my undead bloodsuckers now have a new book.  We got some new toys, some tricks and some interesting changes, and I think VC will go back to being a capable army.

So for the few that may have noticed, I have had trouble finding time to post regularly on here.  I come up with interesting little ideas, but there's not always enough there for an article.  More often I get a great idea, but forget it by the time I get home.  Luckily there's a resource for over-opinionated people like myself, so I've started a Twitter.  I plan on looking into some way to get them on here, and will likely use it to shoot out ideas that will get expanded here.  So for the few that follow me here, go find my twitter @Jersey_General.  The first 100 followers get to be my first 100 followers!

2011 is Over

Well, another year is over and done and where did it take us?  What were the highs and lows?  And how can I mock, abuse and destroy all of it in one post?  Well, there's no sense delaying the inevitable so I guess a good place to start would be...

So yes, the rumors are true...I'm still alive.  I haven't been too active I know, but as a reward to the...4 or 5 people that actually read my rants I have a treat.  It's a double-article.  This weekend saw 2 big things happen.  First, the Necrons are playable again and second I got my first Finecrap so I can tell you, noble reader (singular) just how shit it is first-hand.
